I have listed the readings I currently offer below. I am in a self-appointed apprenticeship as I add new elements into my astrological practice and restart my first decade of practice (I detoured from astrology years ago to mom, find myself, and build a career as an educator in the medical field). When choosing an astrologer you should consider their astrological practice, their offerings, and their approach. So here is a bit about me and what I think:
I am Stephanie, a co-owner of Bohemian Besoms and founder of Mercurial Rose, an education and enlightenment business. If you are curious I am a Gemini Sun, Aries Moon, and Taurus Rising. I have been on this journey in some shape or form my whole life but diligently since I was 19. I have educated and presented for over a decade in the Mundane world and I am now blessed to get to translate those skills to the less mundane side of my life. I have experience in a variety of topics but at this point, I focus on astrology, tarot, and education.
Astrology is a powerful scientific art form. It is a way to understand how the energy of each planet above can effect the beings and events on Earth below, following the Hermetic “As Above, So Below” principle, exercised in spiritual texts for thousands of years. The principle may also sound familiar to you from the Lord’s Prayer, “Kingdom come thy will be done, on Earth, as it is in Heaven.” I suspect it is as old, as a concept can be. Astrologers as a community cannot agree on whether or not they believe the energy of the planets actually causes the events on Earth or are merely related but whether or not they cause them directly is something you can decide for yourself.
There are numerous types of Astrology and I won’t get into all of them here but I practice a blend of traditional and modern styles. Modern astrology brings assessments about character traits and a psychological point of view and came about in the 20th century in the West, while Traditional astrology brings the more external elements of fate and fortune and is far older by thousands of years. I blend both styles to provide a more comprehensive approach, but as I said these are 2 of numerous styles and I think everyone that is even a bit curious should explore the types and see what resonates.
