Get To Know the Owners
Steph
How did you find your path?
I guess, not to sound cliché but it found me. I grew up in a Catholic/Protestant house but with this very spiritual framework that my grandmother and mother observed. I was encouraged to follow my own path spiritually as much as possible. I got off the path for years, busy with all the life, mom, career, family things and then found myself being called back.
What do you do on a routine basis to stay connected to your spirituality?
Speak with my guides and my Gods. I do a daily tarot pull, sometimes a day ahead, sometimes a reflection but always at least once a day. I am in the process of trying to incorporate meditation back into my daily routine, I miss it.
What aspects of spirituality are you most drawn to?
Tarot, astrology, craft work, and writing. I love crystals too, I just do not devote as much time to them as the ones I listed.
If you had unlimited time what aspect would you take the opportunity to learn about?
Herbology and meditation.
What books do you find yourself referencing over and over again or is there an author that has been influential on your path?
Oh wow, a ton, a few are
78 Degrees A Tarot Journey to Self Awareness, Rachel Pollock
Mary Greer-Tarot
April Kent-Astrology
Edith Hamilton (mythology)
Chris Brennan (Astrology)
Demetra George (Astrology)
There are so many more, honestly I could never list them, I’m ridiculous.
What are your “Big 3”?
If you haven’t guessed…Gemini Sun, Aries Moon, Taurus Rising
What season or Sabbat is your favorite?
Spring is without a doubt my favorite season, I come back to life in Spring.
What role does your faith play in your life?
It is like a body part, literally I suppose. It is integral to me. It is in the background of every part of my life, it helps solidify my values and morals, it helps guide me on my life journey, every step.
What advice would you give someone just starting down a spiritual path?
Do not feel the need to put yourself in a box, do not limit your potential. There is no one size fits all way, you just have to map your own path. You will make mistakes, you will learn from them. You will learn to be discerning in your research but in the beginning research as much as you can. Look for a nearby shop…like maybe ours for instance, and talk to the staff/owners. They most likely can help you with some resources to begin, however you want to begin.
If you had an extra hour a day to devote to your spirituality, what practice would you add?
Meditation/Yoga for sure!
