Get to Know the Owners

Moon

  • How did you find your path?

    • My path is very intuitive, so it has always been there. My family is Appalachian and knowledge was passed down as “our ways from the hills” but it was never labeled as spell craft even though that is what it was.

  • What do you do on a routine basis to stay connected to your spirituality?

    • When I wake up every day I work my 2 specific altars, the first to my deity and the other is personal, where I do my affirmations every morning. Every night before bed I reach out to my spirit guides while performing breathing exercises.

  • What aspects of spirituality are you most drawn to?

    • Craftwork, deity worship, and ancestor worship.

  • If you had unlimited time what aspect would you take the opportunity to learn about?

    • Numerology, herbology, and tarot.

  • What books do you find yourself referencing over and over again or is there an author that has been influential on your path?

    • Buckland’s Complete Book of Witchcraft and anything by Scott Cunningham.

  • What are your “Big 3”?

    • Virgo Sun, Scorpio Moon, and Libra Rising

  • What season or Sabbat is your favorite?

    • Season Fall and Sabbat Samhain followed closely by Beltane

  • What role does your faith play in your life?

    • A huge one. I really do try to live by my beliefs and how I treat others.

  • What advice would you give someone just starting down a spiritual path?

    • Look inward, get to know yourself, trust your instincts and give them more credit than most people do. Ask questions and research. Remember there is no right or wrong, if it feels right then it is right for you.

  • If you had an extra hour a day to devote to your spirituality, what practice would you add?

    • Herbology, definitely!!
