Spiritual Maintenance
Do you ever feel disconnected, like you are just floating in life without a safe place to land?
All of us are susceptible to feeling that we are disengaged from life. We may feel severed from our spirit, the universe, or even our higher power. A regular spiritual practice is any act you perform on a routine basis to further your spiritual development. These actions can help to reinforce your connection to the divine and to your inner self. This is not a one size fits all notion and it doesn’t have to be complicated and detailed. It is inherently personal and has to suit your individual life and fit your schedule in order to be sustainable.
What might a regular spiritual practice look like?
Some common activities to include as part of a spiritual routine are:
Prayer
Meditation
Reading a devotional or spiritual text
Reading Tarot cards
Reviewing astrological transits
Journaling
Listing intentions
Reflecting
Working out
Yoga
Affirmations
Goal setting
Releasing pressure off your journey
There is no right or wrong time of the day, this can be daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal. You can do some of these or all of these, whatever works, it is your practice.
Nurturing your self, your mind, and your soul can and will improve your overall mood. Taking dedicated time at regular intervals to focus on your spiritual wellbeing will help you to feel more grounded and gain clarity in your day to day life. This is an opportunity to reflect and introspect while cultivating your connection to the universe.
Let us know what works for you and how you maintain your relationship with the universe, the divine, and yourself. In the coming weeks, we will let you know some of the ways we stay connected and grounded in each of our practices.
